OK all you hotshot pundits..?

Which one is the rotten commie and which is the righteous patriotic American?

Feb. 15 (Bloomberg) -- Republican Senator Lindsey Graham, who sits on the Senate Budget Committee, said he wouldn’t reject the idea of nationalizing U.S. banks.

Democratic Senator Charles Schumer, speaking on the same program, said he isn’t in favor of nationalization for banks.

“I think government is not good at making these decisions as to who gets loans and how this happens,” the New York senator said.

Update:

Wow AgM, you sure know how to explain in full snark form the wiley ways of the world. And from that pile I was able to sift out the one little gem I was looking for. They are just self serving politicians. Neither true left nor true right.

I wouldn't call either of them a commie.

But Lindsy Graham is correct about nationalization.

(didn't you love it a few years back when he was flipping those pancakes and fell off the stage backwards LOL)

But the banks, the national health care system, the automotive industry are all out of hand.

Maybe we need to be nationalize all of them.

    Source(s): The truth.
  • Well, Stud, The Schumster isn't gonna get any campaign money from financial institutions nor their lobbyists if they've been nationalized, now is he?

Here, let me put it in terms even you (and YOUR mommy) can understand:

Government bureaucrats DO NOT give money to politicians. Not even far-left, wingnut politicians. No, you see, the purpose of a bureaucrat is: 1 – To survive (as a bureaucrat (doh!)) and 2 – To nuture and grow his bureaucracy. So, and to help out the helpless even further, while giving money to politicians would help the bureaucrat with #2, it would be antithetical to his #1 need. And, THERE you have it!

You know, you're gonna need to grow up if you can't even figure out something as simple as the supposedly upside down positions of The Graham Cracker and Little Chuckie Schumster. The Cracker was describing reality and The Schumster was describing his campaing fundraising issue regarding the idea. There, THAT wasn't so tough, was it?

Just out of curiosity -- how'd Shumer vote on the stimulus package -- you know, that bill that decides who gets the money and how that happens?

Neither is a patriot . If either was they would of been shouting load long before now how the government has really messed up this country .

Banks should NEVER be nationalised. In this case, The Dem senator is making the better choice (or that's how it sounds from the limited scope you posted).
