Bucc's telling Garcia to to take a hike?
Looks like the Bucc's are really done now.
Garcia has been the only good QB down there in how many years? Not that Garcia isn't used to it by now I guess, but he had a good year, I guess they are going to rebuild.
Kiffin, Gruden, Garcia, Bryant, Brookes may retire....looks like we are back to 70's era Bucc's lol.

I'm a Bucs fan and also a Garcia fan. But one thing I do realize is that it's better to make the switch from veteran quarterback to young quarterback sooner than later. They signed Luke McCown, so I'm assuming that he will be our starter. Unless they pick up a QB in the draft. I really hope the Bucs can persuade Antonio Bryant to stay... This new coaching regime seems to be set on building up a high powered offense. I believe the Tampa 2 will be all but history with the new D-coordinator, who is a 4-3 guy and wil run the defense the way he wants. I believe in Luke McCown!

I believe they're looking at Luke McCown to be the starter this year. Luke may surprise you. He's done fairly decent in the preseason games he played in, but was never really given a chance by Gruden. Gruden was the kind of coach that made his mind up about people, and if you weren't one of his guys, you had no place in Tampa. Look at some of the people he let go over the years. Are we looking at a '70s style Bucs team? I don't think so, but I think it might be a year or two before they return to what we've come to expect. I'm thinking they might go 7-9 this year, but back in the playoffs next year.

The bottom line is things have gotten stale since winning their last Super Bowl. That defense isnt getting younger and it showed against young RBs like Carolinas tandem and even Oakland (who has talent but not enough coaching to be consistent).
Also, as good as Garcia is, he doesnt have the arm to stretch the field and they dont hav the recievers to run a true west coast.
Ur right, things could be bad for Tampa but eventually u hav to move on

i wouldnt b so sure. jon gruden refused to work with young qb's so the only players they ever aquired were old veterans past their prime. i say look for the new man in town to draft maybe rhett bohmar from sam houston state or mayb even make an offer for matt cassel

i think they're gettin rid of them because they may want to pick up michael vick
after all u never kno plus garcia is like 38 he probably wouldn't b good this year anyway

Yeah I think it was time to move on and I think they are going to try to get a franchise quarterback from the Draft
