    I don't know that they do, but in any case who knows what's going on behind the scenes.

    A cold is natures way of eliminating toxins from the body, and a cold should be let run its course.

    In the good old days one would have bedrest for a couple of days and recover, now we soldier on and infect all we come into contact with.

    We have progressed not.

    If you don't take anything for your cold,it will last about a week.If you do take cold meds,you'll probably get over it in seven day's.

    they numb your throat so it doesnt freak out and force you to cough when its agitated.
