Bobby Jindal for president in 2012?

I have heard he could be a contender in 2012 and by 2012 Obama's economy will be worse than Bush's.

I agree, Obama's numbers have dropped to 59% .By the next election, the Republicans will be able to say..Our candidate isn't Obama , it's Obama's fault.Sound familiar?

with all fervor whipped up in the past election by the republican base against the perceived muslim threat do you actually think that lowest common denomenator of the republican base would actually vote for an indian american...dream on. considering the issues the gop had picking a new chairperson, best illustrated by one of the contenders was a member of a whites only country club and so they picked michael steele b/c there was no other choice, jindal doesn't stand a chance. a jindal run would mostly draw moderate republicans while more right leaning republicans, evangelicals, and ultra conservatives go running into the arms of a wild card candidate like ron paul. jindal would split the party and lose.

No. Jindal is youthful (in easy terms 40-one in '12) and for that reason has continuously to take under consideration working. till Obama has Bush-in-'08 approval rankings by making use of then, i think of Jindal will wait yet another cycle or 2 till the way is extra clean. he will run for reelection in '11 and perchance run for Landrieu's Senate seat in '14 - that could provide him more advantageous credentials to run in 'sixteen or '20.

At this point, Rep. Roscoe Bartlett (R-MD) is my new best friend and personal hero, after introducing HR17. Whether it wins or not, I'm seriously thinking about writing him in.

From what I heard today, I'd vote for that. He seemed like a no nonsense politician which is a perfect contrast to the nonsense we have now.

yes, I would love to see him run against Obama it wouldn't matter what shape the economy would be in he would drive people crazy. We don't go for the Barney Fife type in this country.

It will be worse thanks to the extreme damage of his previous admin that should have passed out the petrol when he got in

Jindal will run, but then what will all the Repubs that hate muslims, and he came from the largest muslin country have to say! They will probably vote for their queen of ther con party

Wasnt that the more embarrassing for the republican party to have to withstand? First Palin now Jindal. I started to watch his eyes move from left to right and zero emotion and shook my head and stated, its all over the republicans.

I really don't think that i would want him in office, i am a republican and there is just something about the guy that i really don't like.
