Am I eating too much protein?

I recently went to see a nutritionist type person , those who deal with allergies.

She's told me to go without yeast and sugar... and to eat protein with every meal.

I'm not sure how much i weigh , i don't keep tabs. But i'm 16 , 5"4 , and a UK size 6 on top , 8 on bottom.

I do nooo exercise at all , because my knees are dodgy and i'll be having an op next year.

So on this new diet now , i'm eating (usually) - fried egg on toast for brekfast , oatcakes and cheese for at around 10am , for lunch i have a tortilla with chicken and guacamole and cheese , when i get home from school i have 2 cheese/sundried tomatoes/pesto on toast , for dinner it varies - last night it was chicken and brown rice and chorizo , tonight it was steak and home made chips.

I just wanted to check if having protein with every meal , and not exercising , was ok?

what good/bad will it make?

thank you :)

Update:

To the first person , I definetley DON'T want to lose weight!!

To the personal trainer , unfortuntly im not allowed fruit ... i looove fruit too , it was up there with puddings and roast dinner on my list of faves!

I am allowed to do swimming yes , and light walking. I swim a lot in the summer , but i went to see her because of M.E- and thats why im currently not doing any , because im too weak.

Hi, I'm a UK Personal Trainer and to answer your question, in general your protein intake is ok. I would eat more veggies though and did the specialist say not to eat fruit (because it contains fructose, sugar) or was it just sweets etc that she said to avoid?

Also I would be surprised that you couldn't do any exercise at all. What about swimming?

Poor quality protein comes from meat and dairy products. The body has trouble absorbing the protein.

Protein is everywhere and beans are some of the best quality around.Eat more veg as surprisingly they have great protein.Eat a rounded meal but less animals and animal products such as cheese,it's not the amount of protein but the quality that counts
