Tea has caffeine in it as well. Go for decaf!

Mostly you cannot drink it in excess. My OB told me to only drink one caffeinated drink per day. Although I noticed increased Braxton Hicks contractions when i did so i stopped drinking it all together.

They are not supposed to drink caffeine as it over stimulates the child and can cause complications. You can drink caffeine free tea, such as Green tea, but WHAT EVER you do, stay away form pomegranates, as they will cause a miscarriage. Green tea is safe, try blueberry is you have heart burn, chamomile to calm you. A perfect tea is made by a brand called Bigelow, get the one called Sweet Dreams, you can find it at almost any grocery store. Also, you can have mint tea, peach, plum, or about anything else!

Well having drinks with caffeine increases the chances of miscarriage. The consumption of tea during pregnancy isn't really stressed but some teas have been linked to miscarriage more than others....I'm not exactly sure which but u can find info. On google

It is linked to early miscarrys. It is believed that later in the pregnancy the babies system is more mature and he is more able to handle caffiene.

I hardly drink caffiene to begin with but I love black tea not and then (less than once every other week). I have a home doppler and I would listen to my baby daily at one point. I noticed on the rare day that I had tea my babies heart rate was racing and much fater than normal. It scared me so much that I no longer drink tea.

I'm told it's ok to drink one or two cans of soda a day.

Caffeine is not good because it crosses over the placenta but as long as your not drinking a whole pack of soda a day it's alright to drink.

Caffeine has been linked to early miscarriage. Later in pregnancy, it may not be "unsafe" per se, but it does stimulate the baby. No one wants to drug her baby.

too much does increase babies heart rate. moderate amounts are ok.
