..no! No! NO!!! Another horror movie remake?? Will the insanity never end?

...just got word that it appears that the classic horror chiller from 1985, "Re-Animator", is one of the next films to receive the 'remake' treatment....and supposedly in 3D, no less!! What could possibly surpass the original film?? I weep for the future of horror film entertainment, at this point!! This one definitely warrants enraged opinion; what is yours???

This is one movie that should never even see an attempt at remaking. It is perfect the way it is, and no one's "vision" is going to come even slightly close to the original. It's a shame not a single original/creative thought is left in the movie scene.

    Damnit.

And who in the hell are they going to get to play Herbert West? No one as awesome as Jeffrey Combs, that's for sure. BALLS!

Remakes are usually sad, though I really am looking forward to the HellRaiser remake (I have an obsession with that series)

as for the re-animator, horrible set of movies to start off with (even for the B-Rated "horror" genre...lol) I'm just sad they are making more of them and not burning all of the copies that were made of the previous 3

I am tired of films being remade. I mean seriously come up with you own story. It isnt that hard. There isnt that many horror movies. I can think of so many different story lines just sitting here. And the sequels they are making now? Really, if you want a sequel to a movie make it have a similar story line not a totally different story. People are starting to get really lazy.

the only time I like a remake is when it is made better and that doesn't happen very often. the only one I can think of at the moment that was any good was "Death Race" with Jason Statham and Joan Allen, the first one with Sylvester Stallone and David Carradine was atrocious.

People need to have a good imagination to make movies especially horrors cause heaps are alike and predictable.

They need to think out side the square and stop being lazy copycats!

I think the reason for all these remakes is that Hollywood is just not making enough material and/or is just bored. Anything to make money.
