Expect to see more 85, 87, and 91 octane pumps up here in the mountain states like Colorado.

Motor fuel is blended at 3 different octanes - 87, 89 and 93 - without regard to where the fuel is being shipped to. Higher elevation may have an affect on you vehicle's engine if it is not tuned up properly. If you notice an increase in fuel consumption or if the engine is running a little rough at the higher level, take it in for a performance check.
