How can i delete yahoo answers without deleting my email account?

Users are unable to delete their Yahoo! Answers account without first removing their whole Yahoo! ID. Furthermore, all resolved content shall remain within the community, even if a user were to consider removing their whole Yahoo! account.

I recommend to users who no longer wish to use Yahoo! Answers:

- Make your questions and answers private

- Remove your contacts and fans

- Remove the option to allow users to email / IM (if already active)

- Alter your Yahoo! Answers nickname

- Remove any information in your Yahoo! Answers 'about me' section

- Remove your avatar (if applicable)

All of these options can be accessed via your Yahoo! Answers profile and the 'edit my info' link. You should then simply not visit Yahoo! Answers.

You cannot delete one account without getting rid of all your Yahoo services. Contact Customer Service to find out how you can make some Answers areas "invisible" and/or the best way to eliminate from public view anything that is visible.

Your only real option is to not come here any more. Your account is associated with your YA account as long as its active. You can cancel your email account if its that drastic but Id just avoid YA if I were you.......

I don't think you can. It's all conected. If you don't want to participate in answers anymore, but don't go there.
