Are there any good political chat rooms where you can actually "chat"?

This is the best around. Everybody's in here, and if you won't reasonably consider your opposition, you might as well be congress. Around here, (for the most part) we actually get to know eachother and we respect each other's rights, liberties and viewpoints. I can tell you right off the top of my head who the most well thought folks are in here, and for most of them, I couldn't tell you who they vote for. THIS is where the conveersation is taking place.

You can enable chat in your profile on YA...but I wouldn't recommend it for obvious reasons.

Not that I've found. Most of it is name calling and spouting the same rhetoric over and over from all sides. But it is entertaining.
