In a way you're right. Money has become the most important thing in American politics, and since both parties get their money from the same sources, you can't expect their agendas to be all that different.

But the Republican Party has been taken over by 'movement conservatives', in the mold of Ronald Reagan. These people were committed to undoing the New Deal and concentrating wealth in the US. For a long time, in fact up to last year, the Republicans stood for the worst kind of evil while the Democrats stood for nothing at all. I'm not sure which is worse.

Today, though, things really have changed. I think Obama is really thinking that we measure the success of our system by the standard of living of working people, not the compensation of Fortune 500 CEOs. He's worried more about his legacy than his day-to-day agenda. I think he's done a good job so far.

For the Republicans, well big changes are coming in the GOP. The Reagan Revolution is finally totally and completely over. Movement conservatism is pretty dead, and all that's left is the false outrage, the mean-spiritedness and scrappy obstructionist policies. The GOP has to come up with a new image for themselves, put a new face on the party. Let's wait and see how they come out.

You have no idea what McCain would have done.

But we all know what Obama and the democrats DID do. We also see the result.

It's real simple. We had 6 boom years under Bush. That is an undeniable fact. Also an undeniable fact is the stock market topped out and then started to fall soon after Pelosi and the democrats took over after the midterm election. The real crash didn't start though, until Obama looked like a serious contender for the presidency. You can see this quite clearly on a chart of the DJIA. The situation dramatically accelerated when he got elected. And the market has been in free fall since the stimu-waste plan was passed. To date, the market has lost half, HALF it's value. Many people are out of work, even out on the street.

That is America under Obama. You may not like it. You may not want to admit it. But the consequences of you electing him is that YOU will be out on the street, homeless, picking your next meal out of a dumpster. Where will your denial be then? Your neo-communist liberal politics?

Obama has to be stopped. The democrats have to be stopped. And more and more, secession, not partisan politics is looking like the way to do it. Let the liberals reap what they sow. We'll fix things in the places we live. And they can stay int he places they live.....and suck and die, for all I care.

McCain would have frozen the spending, but for vital entities, such as DOD and entitlements SoS, etc.

The funny thing is that Obama is going to "cut" 10% of military contract spending, although the military is the one who changes it up, and requests more things from the contractor, thus incurring more costs.

McCain had presence of mind to deal with any cronieism in corrupt military contracts, while Obama is simply saying "No more money for you" and hasn't a clue about why military contracts are a problem.

But 10 to 1 odds say that Raytheon will be getting many more contracts, if not all of them by 2012 since the asst. Sec of DOD was a lobbyist of said firm.

Everywhere Omama goes there is corruption and deception. Omama hangs out with terrorist. McCain is imprisoned by them. Omama takes money from Freddie and Fannie while they are failing. McCain tries to stop them before the housing market fails. Omama attends anti-white anti-American church. McCain does not. Omamas reverend says God Damm America. McCain's says God Bless America. Obama hangs out with the Black Panthers. McCain hangs out with American Soldiers. Omama studies under Malcom -x McCain studies the American Constitution. Omama creates a second stimulus package to pay back the organizations which got him elected. McCain wanted to guarantee a portion of the first package to help the failing mortgage market that Omama and Frank took money from. Anti-American Terrorist Bill Ayers kicked off Omama's political career in his house. McCain earned his with years of hard work. Omama gave millions of dollars to corrupt organizations to get the votes out, drunks, homeless, welfare, unemployed, uneducated idiots. McCain did not. Omama used imported money from groups such as anti-American pink. McCain did not. Obama can't find any honest people in which he owes favors to that have not been proved of tax fraud. Even the head of the IRS he appointed has committed tax fraud. Shall we continue. Get educated moron. Which one would you rather see running your business.

New set of lying, thieving corrupt politicians....same old crap!!! Both parties stink. The more things change... the more they stay the same.
