Spent time with my boyfriend last night, then around 1:30 am I went to bed, I know I wasn't dreaming ..?

It is possible that what you saw were only hallucinations but if they weren't, then you're being taunted by demons.

There is no such thing as ghosts or spirits. The bible tells us that when we die we enter heaven or we enter hell; there is no such thing as a soul lingering around. The dead have no contact with the living. If someone sees a ghosts or spirit (call it what you will) it is a Demon. Like 'AsiaWired' said Demons can take on any shape or form. They can mimic voices and personalities, but they have zero power, unless of course you consider manipulation a power.

This only happened 2 days ago when I was home for the weekend: My brother is not a christian. Not at all. He listens to really dark metal music and is pretty much the rudest person I know. He came upstairs and showed our mother and me random scratches on his back. These scratches are massive and thick. He has no idea what could have happened and he said this has been happening for the past 2 weeks and getting worse. I didn't want to tell him what I think it is. I do know however that I will NOT go in his room and I haven't for years.

My boyfriend (who is also not scared by anything and is a christian) told me about a trip he took with his best friend (who is not a christian). On the way they traveled down this dirt road that had a bunch of other dirt roads off of it. They said that upon one of these side dirt roads they saw a huge black figure that was about 12 feet long and 6 feet high sitting and staring directly into my boyfriends truck. I was told they couldn't make out features except for the head (which they said was shaped something like a fox-wolf) There is nothing they said they could describe it resembling overall. They said they knew there was something there and could make out a shape, glowing eyes and a overly giant sized frame, but it was transparent. They could see the trees though this thing. Anyway as the got closer they said it stood up straight and then ran back down the road. They said while it ran it was in the air and they way it ran wasn't like anything they seen an animal do before. Obviously, I questioned whether or not my boyfriend was lying to me or trying to scare me but I knew by the look on his face and the fact that he wanted to drop the subject immediately after telling me made me realize he wasn't. Plus I asked his best friend about it, who confirmed what he said but also didnt want to talk about it (his best friend is not a christian).

Anyway, I believe what they saw was a demon and I believe its a demon or demons thats clawing at my brother while he sleeps.

Please be careful. I don't care if I get a million thumbs down. Call me want you want and say what you want. I know what I know. The devil is nothing to be messed with. You need to talk to Jesus and ask for his help, not ours.

The devil sometimes appears to people in a form like this. The demons are, after all, fallen angels, and have the capability of taking on any form they like, and of using any voice.

While I do not know of a time that I have actually seen a demon, I have seen someone possessed by one. This is a serious matter.

Demons will lay claim to certain things. I suggest you carefully and prayerfully consider all of your belongings, and get rid of any of them which the devil may claim as his. For example, rock music often is claimed by the devil as one of his tools. If you have any devilish computer games, etc., get rid of them. The devil is playing for your soul, and he's playing for keeps. He means business, and is not an ordinary enemy.

Jesus is stronger. But you must cleanse yourself of anything that the devil would claim as his in order to step more firmly out of his control. Then claim God's promises for protection. You may wish to gather a group of Christians and a Christian minister or pastor to hold a special session of prayer in your home that God will put a wall of protection around it and not permit the devil to enter this way again. However, if you have something Satan lays claim to, he will use it as an excuse to come back.

I see two ways of looking at this.

One, your mind is showing you images to terrify you, perhaps because of some deep-seated emotional unrest.

Two, there is malicious energy left in your house that is affecting you in this way, making you feel frightened and have strange dreams.

Feeling lustful is natural for someone your age, don't worry about that.

This experience sounds horrible, I'm sorry you had to go through it. My advice would be to speak to your priest or pastor and see if he could help clear your house of negative or inappropriate energy.

If this is an emotional problem, then you should speak to a therapist. It doesn't mean you're crazy, it means that you have unresolved emotions that are disrupting your life.

Most likely you were just dreaming. Really.

But how can you discount "pshcyo or seeing things"?

Don't you think that people suffering from schizophrenia think their hallucinations are real?

I doubt you are actually schizophrenic or something. Dreaming or some sort of half awake dream-state are far more likely explanations. But OTOH, hallucinations from a psychiatric disorder is also FAR more likely than demons and supernatural stuff. That's just the conclusion you jump to because of what your parents have taught you for religion.

For the record... satan is controlled by god, he can do nothing of himself... god uses him to tempt us, as it is written in the book of job.

And it is only the chriastians that have brought satan about to be a god, and demonic, but go look at the jewish religion and islam religion, and their outlook on the devil is totally different. Its just that christian have thwarted and corrupted yheir religion to the bull it is today, so go look up it all for yourself and find out, dont believe what someone else tells you or says. If you delve into it yourself it will make sense, but only you can do that, or else you can follow what most others believe and head down the wrong track..

I'm thinking you had sleep paralysis, where you are half-awake and are hallucinating. This hallucination upset you, naturally, and you then had a bad dream about the situation because of the emotional impact the hallucination had on you.

If I were in your position I would certainly have the home blessed by a priest as soon as possible. Keep praying.

There are times when it is easy to confuse being awake with dreams. It is not that unusual, and it happens when we're tired or too sleepy. We fall asleep yet we could swear we're awake. It was most likely a disturbing dream.

Stay away from drugs and drink.

Pray to God every single night for his protection. No one elses ONly God through his son Jesus -not Mary, not some saint-Only God through Jesus Christ.

You said you crossed yourself. That sounds Catholic. If you accept Jesus as your Savior and ask Him to give you His Holy Spirit then I can guarantee you that no demon or devil can touch you. The fact is that Catholics are not Christians. You must understand that you are headed for hell unless you repent of your sins and ask Jesus to save you and follow Him.
