What do you think the chances are of political transformation in the Middle East?

Honestly, I think we (I am American, so I'm referring to America here) should just get out of the way. We have caused enough damage over there. Bush had eight years and he just made it worse. I'm not sure how to fix it, but setting a date to pull out would certainly be better than just hanging around, pissing people off. I hope we can get out of the global doghouse sometime, even though we deserve it. Sometimes I just hate the way Americans are, even though I am one. We aren't all stupid hicks, trust me.

They have been going at each other for 5000 years there. No chance. The middle east is the as*hole of the world.

thus, i doubt there will be any significant change without much more severe action, probably by Israel since they aren't going to fold their tents and all move to America overnight and nothing less will feel like enough to Hamas.

I say leave the muslims to their own hell and cut off all connections. Maybe in a 1000 years they might evolve into a respectable civilization.
