Why does everyone want to know where I'm going?

I live in an Asian country and am a foreigner. Why does everyone want to know about me. When foreigners are in my own country, I leave them alone because that's how I want to be treated.

Maybe because you are a novelty. Australia, the US and the UK are very multi-cultural and have been for years, so we are used to it, but some of the Asian countries are not so multi-cultural, and you stand out.

Possibly they don't trust you. Maybe they want to get to know you. You might be the only foreigner they have ever seen.

But I agree with your feeling, it's tough living in a poor Filipino neighborhood and no one believes you don't have money. I do have the pinkish white skin they all crave!

Your bound to be bothered when you are from another country. =.=

I think U.S. is used to having foreigners around >.< it's been like this forever Lol

Sorry if you feel you are being bothered. My guess would be that they are interested in you and just trying to be friendly. Maybe you are reading things into it that aren't intended. Americans tend to be outgoing, friendly people...try not to take it too seriously.
