Difference's between Epson PX800 and PX700?

What are the main difference's between these two printers and is it worth spending extra to get the PX800FW. I am a photographer btw so if one has better print quality then that helps me

Someone suggested the R800, which is an older model. If you can find it, it has two advantages. 1) it is pre march 2007 so cartridges are cheaper and 2) it uses 6 different colors plus 2 different blacks so photo quality is supposed to be high.

On the other hand you can get a R280 which is also a high quality printer though it only uses 5 color plus black for $60 direct from Epson after instant rebate.

The biggest complaint about all inkjets is the high cost of ink cartridges. http://ccs-digital.com/ has cartridges for about $4.50 each. They also have a unique product - a two-piece cartridge where the ink is in a separate tank inside the cartridge. When the ink runs out, you replace just the ink tank and the original chip resets itself to full. By keeping the same chip, you save 1.50 per cartridge. Ink tanks are only $3 and hold 50% more ink than disposable cartridges.

The print quality is identical on each. The 800 has a bigger "touchscreen" and is basically a small step up from the 700.

As a fellow photographer, I urge you to look at Epson's Stylus Photo series. Much better print quality with a wider color gamut ability. I have a Stylus Photo R800 and it's amazing.
