Is it true that President Bush protected us after 9/11 the worst Presidential failure in American history?
President Bush's acolytes are still running around bragging about no terrorist attacks since 9/11.
Like the actual 9/11 attack, the absolute worst Presidential failure in American history is just a small foot-note and the actions President Bush took after 9/11, Torture, Arrest without charges or a trial and 4000 dead Americans in Iraq are what we should all be proud of.
President Bush left President Obama with the worst foreign policy of any President in American history and foreign policy is not even close to President Obama's biggest (The Economy) problem.
One thousand years from today President George W. Bush will still be called the worst President in the history of the United States of America.
Speak truth to power.

Dear Bad News....You must be very young and very naive. Chances are you have never served in the military. Well, I did, for 21 years and let me enlighten you/ The attack on 9/11 could not have been avoided. That is a FACT. The militant terrorists who committed these attacks are sworn to rid the world of all non-believers, meaning anybody who does not follow their interpretation of the Koran and their interpretation of the will of Allah.
In so far as post 9/11, President Bush kept this Country safe, and part of the way he did it were military actions in Afghanistan and Iraq. Yes 4000 soldiers have lost their lives this past 7 years . The loss of even one brave life is a tragedy, but these men and women are true patriots willing to serve and protect their Country, and they know the true meaning of the words duty, honor and Country. I doubt that you do. So even though 4000 dead over 7 years is tragic, lets not forget that not too long ago, 33,000 soldiers died in just one day during the invasion Normandy in WWII. These too were patriots defending their Country, and yes we SHOULD be proud of each and every one of them. Shame on you if you aren't, because it's your freedom they protect. And while you are on your high horse, let me remind you that only 7% of the military are registered democrats (US Census bureau). So for a party that wants to enjoy all of this freedom, maybe some more of you should get off your butts and defend it, instead of letting conservatives do all of the work while you mooch all the benefits. Having said that, I would like to thank all of the democrats who did serve for their service to our Country.
With regards to torture, you don't know what you're talking about and until you've been there and done that, enough said. Combat is mean business. Period.
Lastly, President Bush did NOT leave Obama with bad foreign policy OR a bad economy. I remind you that Presidents propose bills, but it is Congress that legislates them, and since liberals have controlled Congress for over 2 years now, you have nobody to blame but yourselves. Additionally, President Bush presided over 31 of 32 quarters with positive growth, the Dow Jones eclipsed 13,000 points....and unemployment was at its lowest in 20 years ! The stock market continues to crash under your Obama because the business community has no faith in Obama or in his so called magic plan to save the economy. Like his campaign, it is all smoke and mirrors. Obama said he would go "line by line and delete any pork barrel spending" yet today he signed into law a bill that had 9000 pork items in it. More than any bill in history. Just another Obama lie. Face the facts.

President Bush failed to protect the USA after the WTC attack of 1993.
He preferred to vacation and ignore warnings that a second attack would come on US soil. Thus the attackers on September 11, 2001 had a field day.
There have been no further attacks on the WTC since 9/11/01, BECAUSE under GW Bush's watch, we LOST the WTC. See? He eliminated the threat by letting them eliminate the target.

about 1600 people died in Katrina & over 6600 have never been found...He took the surplus that Clinton gave him which was supposed to be used for many things (& came out of our pay checks) one of those things was scheduled work by the Army Corp of Engineers to work on the Levees. Then I watched for 2 days glued to my TV watched the politians in the lower states saying they needed the President or someone who was not signing what needed to be signed. so those Fukers were holding this up & the murdered these people. So if we only knew we would have a long list of horrendeous things this man who always called other evil, actually did.

I'm a liberal Dem and I'm calling you out on this rant.
Do I like Bush? Absolutely not.
Do I find it ridiculous to hear that he kept us safe after 9/11? Yes.
Who do I blame for 9/11? The terrorists (right after the Boston Logan security team).
And here's the key:
Do I think another attack is coming? Yes.
When that attack comes will people blame President Obama. Yes
Will it be President Obama's fault? That is TBD
Watch and wait and keep your rants to yourself.

"Slick willy bastard" Bill Clinton could have! We had the planes loaded with bombs, and we had Osama Bin Laden the pilots asked for permission and the liberal rat bum denied them the chance to do so!
My question to you is this; what teacher told you that it is Bush's fault? What year did your teacher graduate from college, was it '68? Is your teacher smoking pot while taking Prozac? What college did your teacher attend way back then? How many acid trips did your teacher take? Did your teacher tune-in, turn-off, drop out, drop dead like Timothy Leary?
You say that Bush was the worst president? I will drop a name for you. . . Jimmy Carter! And Obama (the eight trillion dollar man) is on the same path!
Thanks for the two points anyways. . . .

I always thought it was odd that people claimed he kept us safe, when 911 was on his watch and there were warnings. Just because there hasn't been one since then, that is indicative of nothing. It took them 8 years to attack between 1993 and 2001. Furthermore, the heightened security is a result of 911, and would occur under any president. The FAA had some say in that, I am sure.

Wow, sorry to hear you are so misinformed or just too ignorant to understand.
Are you just trying to distract us from the fact that the ABJECT FAILURE named Barack H. Obama, who in 3 months has done more damage than any other President and who happens to be following in Bush's policies, is in office?
Nope Obama owns the #100 spot we have to wait for the other 56 guys to be elected.

It is true though that no Americans died in terrorist attack since 9/11 (unless you count the 4000+ Americans in Iraq)

If the war in Iraq is your criteria for failure, your question should read "worst since LBJ" since Vietnam has proven to be about 8 times worse than Iraq.

Historians will write very poorly on Bush.
I saw this statistic once and like 77% of historians thought him to be a failure, and what was left was undisclosed or not a failure.
