The Mark 14:51-52 can someone who has biblical knowledge explain this please?
A young man wearing nothing but a linen garment was following Jesus when they seized Him, he fled naked leaving garment behind. What does this represent? Serious answers only please as I respect God Holy word. Could it have been a guardian angel that has to now leave Him to let God's will be done?

The bible specifically states that after all of his followers had fled for their own safety, this was just the last follower still following. And it was night so that would explain why he was in his pajamas. It's not meant to represent anything and can be taken literally. It's an eye witness account of what actually happened. If it had been a guardian angel it would have said so, like it did when the angels came to tend to Jesus after his 40 days in the wilderness.
Mark 14:50-52 (New Living Translation)
50 Then all his disciples deserted him and ran away. 51 One young man following behind was clothed only in a long linen shirt. When the mob tried to grab him, 52 he slipped out of his shirt and ran away naked.
When you look at everything done to Jesus, it's little wonder that all the normal people around him were scared enough to run for their lives from these people who had Jesus. And what would you do? If an angry mob of police tried to grab you and ripped say a sundress off you, are you going to run away naked or stand there and let everyone gawk at you?

It was not uncommon then to wear only a linen garment, basically a tunic. This event was the arrest of Jesus - when Judas betrayed Christ. Everyone deserted Jesus. The preceding verses explain that everyone ran away when Jesus was arrested. One of the guards grabbed this one man who was wearing only the linen garment. To escape from the guard the man let the guard keep the linen garment. The guard grabbed a hold of the fabric to catch the man, and it ripped. The man took advantage of the ripped fabric by letting it rip completely off, leaving the guard holding nothing but the garment. The point of this is that people were so eager to abandon Jesus that one of them even was willing to run away naked.

This is the scene where Jesus is betrayed and arrested. The young man who fled was probably being seized by the soldiers along with Jesus, and got away by pulling out of the linen garment he was wearing. I don't think this means much more than that.

As far as i know it wasn't a guardian angel, it was one of Jesus followers, I have heard it was young Mark, the poor guy was afraid, he didn't want to be arrested also, and when they hold on, on him, he left his clothes in their hand -moreover he couldn't believe this could happen to Jesus, the Miracle worker and King of the Jews, when they did expect him to take over from the Romans and set up his Kingdom in Jerusalem.
Biblically, I believe it also tell us something - how a few of us will sometimes run away from Jesus when things get hot and for what seems to be unbearable in our lives, (sometimes,) but only to come back, because there is no other way, but Jesus way.

This passage is recorded to show what a barbarous crew this was, that was sent to seize Christ, and what a narrow escape the disciples had of falling into their hands, out of which nothing could have kept them but their Master's care of them; If ye seek me, let these go their way, <Jn. 18:8>. It also intimates that there is no hold of those who are led by curiosity only, and not by faith and conscience, to follow Christ.

All statements above this page are pure speculation. The Bible clearly does not state any other scripture related to verses 51 & 52

The New Testament, especially in the Gospels and the book of Acts, is full of seemingly insignificant details, all of which have rich symbolism. This one is very odd, I agree. Nakedness, garment, and linen all probably mean something.

as an atheist i believe that represents that when you deny jesus, such as the young man did when he fled while jesus was captured instead of standing by his side, that you are left bare naked for the world to see all of you and to judge you.
basically, reject jesus and your left out in the cold =p or something like that.

If God will turn his face away from him on the CROSS then is possible for an angel to flee from him. Angel are usualy on linen, th angel that pray to strenghtened Jesus was before the cross and when he was captured. If Jacob will restle with an angel, I believe is possible he is an angle in human form like they appear to Abraham
