Tibetan silver-looking for purity amount?

Does anyone have an idea on the purity of Tibetan silver verses say-sterling? Is it like Peruvian? A mix but still viable? I've bought some bracelets and would like to get a better idea-will it stay silver like the things from Peru?

this is a thailand board, but here you go:

try soaking the silver in a solution of salt water and something like lemon or lime juice, see if it turns black quickly.

Good silver will hold up good in saltwater.

Silver from Laos is one of the finest in the world, as I have seen some very fine pieces from there.
