My LP is currently 7-9 days at most... I feel that If I can fix my LPD, then we might could finally have a baby... Any advice or experiences are VERY appreciated! Thanks to all :)

The first time I took B6 (100mg), It lenghtened my cycle by 4 days. The second month it went back to the same. It started to take B6 from ovulation to AF. This kept me at a 28 day cycle (two days longer).

I ovulate on cd (cycle day) 18. I took 160mg Soy Isoflavones, the natural alternative to Clamid (you can get them at Walmart), on cd 2-6. That month I ovulated on cd 14! The next month I took it the same and ovulated on cd 17. I got pregnant that month! Something I else I did that month....we had sex every 2-3 day doggie. We read that this ensured that there was always a "fresh" supply waiting for the egg, I never got "old" sperm and we didn't deplete his sperm count. Doing it doggie ensured that the seaman was deposited directly on the cervix. Like I said, along with the supplements above, doing it every 2-3 days got us pregnant fast!

I was in your exact shoes 1-1/2 years ago. I had a 7-9 day luteal phase. I tried b6, iron, vitex, vitamin C, and over-the-counter progesterone cream. At best I got about 2-4 days of spotting from it, which still wasn't enough to correct my luteal phase. I don't regret having gone this route before going to the doctor and you can certainly try it, but it didn't do anything helpful for me.

What DID help was the doctor prescribing me Clomid + Progesterone suppositories. Progesterone suppositories alone increased my luteal phase to 14-16 and when we added the Clomid my luteal phase is 16-18 days. Neither medication is expensive and I've spent less on these meds than I did on all of the herbal meds. I'm still not pregnant, so there's obviously something else going on, but at least my luteal phase is fixed and I feel like I have a chance now.

My only other piece of advice is to be careful with the B6. You can overdose on it and it can cause neuropathy (nerve pain). I believe the safest dose is to start off on 50mg. I went up to 75mg before quitting.

Whatever you choose, I wish you the best! Good luck and lots of baby dust!!!

I, too, had a quick luteal section (9-10 days), yet conceived final month. I wasn't taking B6 then, yet I did drink a cup of pink raspberry leaf tea daily, and conceived an identical month i began ingesting it! i've got additionally heard chaste tree berries (vitex) can postpone a quick luteal section; carry out a little reading and communicate on your checklist first. playstation i'm taking B6 now for morning ailment and it works wonders (a hundred mg on an general basis). solid success.

I have heard good things about B6, you could also add a B complex. I'm not sure if it will help your luteal phase but taking evening primrose oil until ovulation will help a lot with ewcm.

I've heard that Vitex can help with luteal phase defect. You can purchase this herbal supplement at GNC or The Vitamin Shoppe. Baby dust to you.
