2003 Mitsubishi Gallant Sony stereo installation problem?
I put a Sony stereo in my 2003 Mitsubishi Gallant. I ordered the car-specific wiring harness off of the internet. I soldered everything together and plugged it in. It all works great, except for the radio. I can hear the radio, but it is very fuzzy. It is almost like the antenna isn't connected at all. Which wire is for the antenna?
I plugged that in and it sparked, so I thought that was constant power. But that is plugged in? What else could be wrong?

Your antenna isn't going to be like the other wires. The antenna wire will be a little smaller than a tv cable and it will have a silver "connector" on the end. If you look at the back of your stereo you will see a hole about 3/8 of an inch in diameter, this is where the antenna cable goes. Check your owners manual for your stereo to make sure. Sometimes you have to get an adapter for your antenna cable also.
