Is a comission for an RN startinga company researcihing HiPPA violations a legitimate career?

HiPPA is basically laws that make it illegal for medicial personnel to disclose confidential medical information about patients in their care or whom they have access to their medical info. I was phoned and offerred "training" in what seemed lik a paramid scam to create revenue by adding personnel for training in the violation of this law and rrecieving a percentage of their earnings in advancing quantiitiies as the group grows is this legal?

Well, this is a new one--I haven't heard anything about this, but it does sound a little like "ambulance chasing" if they are planning on searching out HIPPA violations to prosecute (that will increase health care fees for sure). NOt sure how you are expected to find violations either unless you use fraud to act as phoney patients? I would be very very leery of this.
