I am a nurse and the sister of a truck driver Live in California. Widowed.

  • How do people in dysfunctional families escape them?

My family always calls on me when there is a serious problem that no one can solve. Impossible situations that include domestic violence, drug abuse, and some actual life threatening issues that demand immediate intervention.

Like a sister who lives out of town and is self destructive. A brother whose life is being threatened by his wife. A father that is abusive to a mother.

I am usually able, through drastic measures including notifiying law enforcement, paramedics, or administering emergency medical aid myself to resolve many crisis and chaos that occur.

But I am wiped out. One brother is constantly needing money.

    I just want to escape.

  • if it is believed that a deceased relatives will and documentation is fraudlent, how is that researched?

In 1870 my great grand father his brother and a cousin bought 167 acres in east Texas. My mother one of 3 children of the 5 uncles was told that her grandfather gave as inheritence all 167 acres to one Uncles unadopted step child. MY mother heard many conversations amongst the family that each brother (her Uncles) would recieve a portion of the property at the death of their father. Now an attorney is claiming that Great granpa deeded the entire 167 acres to this woman who is no realtion to the family, but was taken in when her mother married my mothers uncle. Is there a method to verify/validate whether or not the documents claiming that she inherited the entire 167 acres of the property are legitimate?

  • If squatters in Texas are on my land Can make a consumer s complaint to the Txas attorney General?

I contacted a attorney who is representing other members of the family who had no knowledge of the squatters on the property. However the Land rep for a Energy co. wrote and sent a contract to be signed for a lease of the mineral rights. My husband and I are on a fixed income, the Attorney wants 4000.00 retainers fee and 200.00 dollars an hour.

I do not believe the squatters followed legal procedure to steal my property. Does any one know where I might obtain a book on the laws in Texas regarding the rights of squatters. The property has been in my family since before the civil war. The taxes have been paid.

    Please help!

  • inherited land in Texas has had sqwaters on it for 3 years, they have filed to keep it how do we fight it?

MY mother inherited a portion of 167 acres from her dad when h passed away. She lives in California. The property is in EAst Texas, the taxes were being payed by logging on the property.

We just found out from a land rep that they want my mom to lease them the mineral rights on the property. We subsequently discovered some sq-waters have bought the property for 500.00 dollars, the Energy Co. Land Representative from DEvon Energy, is requesting the mineral rights be leased.

I contacted an attorney, who states there are at least 10 other decedents of the original owners of this property, it was bought as a homestead in 1870, that are fighting the squatters. But th attorney claims we need to give him 4000.00$ dollars to retain his services and 200.00$ dollars an hour!!!! If members of the family are all ready disputing the squatters why do we need to come up with that much more money for our own land????

  • What do you do if kids at school are threatening to hurt a class pet? ?

A small private school on Native American land has a pet rabbit. On a students computer in the history was a site about "abusing rabbits." Nothing has happened yet. Also the same student suspected of doing the search on the internet is also suspected of being involved with putting shards of broken plastic in other students lunch food.

There is no proof or evidence of who is doing these things although the school staff have their suspicions.

If you cannot prove it what can you do?

  • A students internet history includes "abusing rabbits" how to protect the class bunny?

In school a students computer history included "how to abuse rabbits" when a rabbit was going to be bought as a class project.

Also the same student is suspected of vandelizing the school. An attempt to put Plastic shards in the lunch food of students was discovered.

Also the locks to the cafeteria were destroyed by having somthing pushed in the lock and broken inside requiring the services of a lock smith.

There is no proof but the school staff have suspicions.

This is taking place in a small private mission school on Native American land ( a reservation) that is subsidised by donations from a protestent church.

  • How does a newly ordained Minister advertise to officiate weddings?

As a newly ordained minister my brother is trying to meet the needs of couples who may have difficulty finding clergy to officiate their wedding ceremoney.

He has a non denominational christian prison ministry but would like to also make himself available to interfaith couples, military couples and couples where one partner may be incarcerated but wishes to make vows while in jail or prison.

During his prison ministry he met an inmate whose fiancee was pregnant and wished to be married but the couple was unable to find a clergy to officiate the wedding.

Can anyone suggest a way for a minister to make his services available to couples who may be having difficulties finding clergy due to extenuating circumstances?

    Thank you for your assistance.
