how do you re-align/adjust car doors?
one of my doors seems to have dropped and the striker post is being etched away by the door latch

need to know what type of car on some its just a matter of replacing the bushings on the hinge pin on other cars you can use a 2x4 to hold it up while you adjust it or get a buddy to help but a 2x4 is steadier

Why don't you first check the upper and lower hinges, that most likely your problem. Just moving the striker is short term bandage.
