is "girlie" a cute nickname?
i've been calling this girl i kind of flirt with "girlie" and i was just wondering if anyone had any opinion on whether it's cute or not
haha interesting.. it's just what came naturally when i saw her. she's very girly
its also one of many nicknames i have for her, i've known her for.. 11 years, we're very close friends, and she knows i'm not patranizing her

No. Girlie is a generic term you use when you can't remember her name.

I would personally be offended to be called 'girlie'. Its sort of an insult. Its sort of a way to marginalize women. Like if I patted you on the head and said, "Awww, aren't you just so cute!" You'd know I thought of you as a child, someone to be patronized.

For a small child...I call the girls in my pre-school class girlie when im joking with them but a older girl maybe something eles.

Its totally cute as long as shes girlie and not a tomboy cause that might make her mad lol

awe nah nah i think thats adorable. i like it when guys say stuff like that instead of calling us sexy or hottie ect. cause i get random guys yelling that at me while im out. and then i go home and i see my bf and he says "whats up sexy?" but thats just my oppinion. you should keep calling her that,
