im doing an art project and i have to pick someone to paint. i really want to do a person that made a change in the world but is not really recognized for it. any suggestions?

How about a painting of Edward Jenner. He is the English scientist that first srudied Small Pox and developed the vaccination process that lead to the disease being irradicated. When you consider that this one disease killed up to 80% of the population of the Native Americans in the western hemisphere when the Europeans arrived and killed or scarred millions more around the world his work is pretty big accomplishment.

How about Isadora Duncan? (1877- 1927 dancer/choreographer)
She changed the world of dance forever (freeing it from the strictures of ballet and introducing cultural elements to add philosophical depth to the art of dance.)
She also had a tragic life and was a beautiful and clever person. She is a great inspiration to me personally.
