I reckon he's spending all his vacation and travel time to work on his next book. We all know 4 Million Dollars is not enough to live on, plus his $400K salary, noting all his expenses are paid for.

Query: Is Mother-in-Law paying rent? Are Michelle and Barry paying her? Is it some sort of "in-kind" arrangement wherein Mom has to declare the housing, food, amenities, airplane rides, etc. as compensation. Tom Daschle got really f'd up over a simple driver...

I'd rather have a president who is out amongst the people than one who stays in hiding most of the time. He needs to address the people to bolster confidence in recovering the economy. Consumer confidence will be one of the main fixes of the problems we are having.

Also Camp David is a working location. Why not try being supportive of your president and your country for a change instead of whining about such ridiculous crap. Don't you think it's time we started working TOGETHER?

Obama has done vastly more in his short time in office than anyone. How people -- even you who reject Reality-Based thinking -- can accuse him of slacking off is beyond me.

Presidents frequently go to Camp David, and in fact, Camp David is a place where they do have meetings and such.

The longer Obama can run from the problems he is causing the better off the fall guys in the Cabinet will take the blame for him.

Obama is clueless on what to do, that is why he is still campaigning instead of doing his job, its very evident with still no one in Geithners cabinet to solve the problems in the economy.

Could you imagine Michelle Obama going camping for real? She wouldn't dare sleep in a tent or rough it in the great outdoors. Barry Jr, on the other hand, was born in a mud hut in Kenya, so he is probably used to it.
