if all american millitary personel are not out of iraq by 2012?

is it fair for me to vote against any subsequent president that continues to support with troops the failed second vietnam.

Update:

JIm- when the next 9-11 happens i won't turn to my government or its goon squad , ill just get my gun.

Update 2:

interesting i should support the libertarians a group whom supported the death of voting rights , right along with the failed 2 parties you discuss....democratic party of california vs. state of california 2000 ..look it up and see how innocent and sweet you purple crusaders really are..

if all of our troops are pulled out of Iraq in the time frame that the president has given, that region is going to be worse off then before we invaded. Granted, Bush may not have been completely honest in his reasons for invading Iraq, but Saddam Hussein had to be removed from power.

It is unfair to label this a second Vietnam as the conflicts were fought for very different reasons. Vietnam was about Communism. Iraq was about terrorism and the invisible WMD's and about the younger Bush trying to be just like dear old Dad.

you cannot compare Iraq to vietnam, what is wrong with you media influenced people? I bet you dont know we were actually WINNING in Vietnam until after we defended the Tet offfensive the media and Kerry convinced the public we were losing. By the way it was a DEMOCRAT who got us into nam.

WAKE UP and smell the 2 party corruption, if you are truely against any foreign involvement then you should support the Libertarians.

  • Last time I looked, Iraq was a win that Obama would have to really screw up to make a loss. I have faith in Obama to do just that.

Yeah, it couldn't be more crystal clear that the American public no longer has Bush's wool pulled over their eyes. Now nobody's even selling the scam anymore.

Done. Over with. Gone. No chance.

    .................................

Republican administrative strategy old as the hills and continuing since Nixon:

If you have a tank, it has no value unless you use it.

The gold standard was abandoned by Johnson and Nixon. The Vietnam conflict cost so much that it was funded by foreign countries, who demanded gold in repayment. Ultimately the US ran out of gold and unpegged the dollar from gold. Then it was instead pegged to military power.

Since then your dollar is valued based upon military threat.

Qualifications for president in the US have been the willingness to oppress the world militarily, and in order to maintain the global currency system founded upon a dollar unpegged to tangible wealth.

we built a multi million dollar embassy in Baghdad that means after the "troops" leave the US will always have a foothold in Iraq
