I think the little 9 year old boy needs to get help, still when he is old enough i believe he should go to jail. i mean the boy kill his father by shooting at him, then he kill another person. so just because of his age why are they feeling sorry for him, this person has already took two lives away so he should pay for what he did

There are circumstances when minors should go to jail but this is not one of them. The reason there's a certain age is because the human brain isn't fully developed at such age, especially that of a 9 year old. One of the last parts of the brain to develop is the part that allows you to think rationally-to predict the consequences and see around the corners. The circumstances when minors should go to jail are if they are clinically diagnosed as a Sociopath, etc etc... Because those are chemical diseases (usually caused by neglect and whatnot but cannot be fixed). In this instance, it's most likely the parents' fault for not teaching their son better. But if he has something like ADHD where people are constantly looking for stimulation, we now know and need to treat it. But in this circumstance, he shouldn't go to jail. His brain's not fully developed yet and it was up to his parents to tell him right from wrong. The child needs therapy and rehabilitation-not jail.

I don't think a 9 year old has the emotional or mental development required to be held to an adult standard. And he certainly won't get "help" in jail. A hospital, maybe. Juvenile is better than adult, but still not likey to provide help needed And when he's an adult, he should be held responsible for his actions as an adult, but certainly not something he did as a child.

Its blended opinion on the tip of the day, the boy grew to become into dealing with an exceedingly complicated existence yet that dose not excuse what he did ! he would desire to be placed to penitentiary on the age of sixteen and not enable loose lower back for anther twenty years.

Nope. He cannot be tried as an adult. A 9 year old boy is just that, a boy. Not aware of his consequences or actions.

I think he needs to go to a highly guarded psych facility to get help is what I think... :/

  • Sorry. Little dude has a screw loose obviously. If he's a cold blooded murderer at 9, what's he going to be at 20?

I think he should be placed in a children's home until he is of age.

If by then he isn't rehabilitated,Then he should be transferred over to a maximum security prison.
