Only in Test matches, and even there he has fierce competition from Daniel Vettori. Kallis is the best batting allrounder, and probably top allrounder period.

In ODIs it's different again, Vettori would be the top ODI bowling allrounder (10 overs for 30 runs time and time again) but he bats himself too low so doesn't get the chance to fulfill his allrounder potential. Shakib Al Hasan would have to be up there too.

He is currently the best BOWLING allrounder. He averages under 30 with the ball, and over 30 with the bat in Test cricket. If he can keep these stats up through his career, he will be right up there with the best allrounders of all time.

Mitchell Johnson has shown how to bat in the recently concluded test series. But is he really an allrounder?

He has been consistent for quite some time now. And he batted better than the top order batsmen in the last test match. He is worthy to be considered an allrounder; he can succeed as a lower middle order batsman or as a night-watchman.

Well at the rate he is going, he would soon become a batting allrounder!!

hell yeah he bowls 190kph and can hit the ball as clean a yuvraj...

Australia are very lucky to have him in his side....

the other advantage he has is that he is left handed.....

i dunno why but left handed fast bowlers tend to do real good....

Some people might say that it too early to comment on him...

and i agree with them but i dont care abt future he is playing awesome now an thats what matters....

we will critisize him later when he does bad....

    Edit--

guys i am not dumb \..

i know no one has bowled 190 kphs...

i was just saying that he bowls really fast in a different way.....
