how can I lose weight by Summer?
I am 14. I am 5'1" and 120 pounds. people tell me im not fat but i am so can you please tell me how i can lose weight.
Also....no I am not gonna starve myself so dont suggest it. and please dont say oh you dont need to lose weight because personally i think i do and i want to do it for myself and no one else. thanks!

The only way you can lose weight is too eat healthy and exercise. There isnt a magic diet that will make you lose 20 pounds in a week because if there was we woud all be thin and happy. So just start off small and work your way up.
Eat healthy foods not over processed foods in the health section of the store but the vegetables and fruits look for breads that are whole wheat and cut back of meats that are high in fat like red meat. Go for chicken and fish. Eat 1200-1800 calories a day depending on how much you want to work out and eat 3-5 times per day. Most people can do the 6 small meals a day i personally cant i prepfer 3 meals and 2 snacks . Do what works for you.
Exercise 3 times a week for at least 30 minutes if it medium intensity and 20 minutes if its high intensity like interval training or running. And you know it might not even be weight you want to lose you might just want to lose fat and have lean muscles, by lean muscles i mean slim sexy muscles not big bulky ones that most women think when you tell them to resistance train! When you resistance train you creat muscles so you wont be skinnyfat. when girls are skinny but likr 80% body fat. you want to be thin but lean. And if your doing this for yourself if has tons of healthy benifits.

Well, the simple answer is exercising. And do it everyday, for 30 minutes,not a few times a week for 10. Target one area and work on it for a few minutes, then move on. Also, having a healthy diet helps. Lots of veggies. I try cutting out high fructose corn syrup and lots of bread.

swap out brown rice or quinoa yes even the new super food which both add up to about 220 calories per cup for cauliflower or roasted peppers that are only about 30 calories per cup
