Why was my 360 picture removed from YA, to be replaced by my old avatar?
Last night I had a picture on "Answers". This morning I have the old avatar. When I checked my profile info, the option to choose my 360 profile pic as my YA pic was no longer showing. Why the change?

Y! is doing away with 360. Yahoo! announced that they are making a transition: "From now on, instead of importing your image display from Yahoo! 360, Answers will use the image from your profile on Yahoo!." So you will either need to update your profile or create your profile by going to http://profiles.yahoo.com./
If no picture is created in your profile and if you are not using an avatar, the gray smiley face will appear by default.

Yahoo changed your photo. Yahoo! Answers has said that your picture (other than the Yahoo! Avatar) must come from the Yahoo! Profile instead of Yahoo! 360, as of March 19, 2009. So, if the old avatar is showing on your Yahoo! Profile, then that's what's showing here.
You can go to http://profiles.yahoo.com/ and upload a different photo if you want. See http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/profiles/photos/0... and http://yanswersblog.com/index.php/archives/2009/03... for details.
NOTE: The Y!360 team is no longer addressing bug reports, as it prepares to migrate parts of 360 to a universal profile system (UPS). This transition was announced in October 2007 and the UPS actually started in a rudimentary beta form on October 16, 2008. The Y!360 part of the system hasn't been transferred over fully yet.

The 360 team blog is also accessible via the "Yahoo! 360 News" link in the upper right corner of your 360 space. You can post complaints on the Yahoo! 360 blog, but don't expect a personal response.

Yahoo is run by incompetent conservative morons. Nothing on this site works for very long the way it's supposed to. That's what happens when you outsource. Is it any wonder they delete questions for no reason and accept appeals for the stupidest of reasons but not for valid ones? They don't spreak Engrish!
Source(s): I just read that they no longer accept bug reports. It's just as well, because they never fix bugs. They just tell you they're "aware of the issue." They've come a long way since the 90's. All downhill. - ?Lv 45 years ago
It does no longer be as interesting visual attraction clever. i do no longer think of they are going to do it. they are continually "recuperating" issues which of direction messes them up. optimistically it's going to all straighten out quickly. each and every of the avatars are showing up for me suitable now.
