My monitor screen is blank.?

Question

After flashing on and off while operating over a few days the screen is now blank and I can't get anything to show.
I assume it is the hard drive. It isn't the monitor as I swapped another one one earlier and had the same problem.
Is there anything I can do to get some of the data on the hard drive?

assuming the fans are running and appears ok 
apart from blank screen 
a it could be your video card /reseat and check cable connections
b it could be the hard drive check these cables
can you remove it and place in another machine this will check the drive is ok
you may find the power lead to the drive has had it . generally there are 4 or 5 connections change it

Get The Tec Guys in , they will sort it out , maybe your monitor's motherboard has died , mine did but now it's been repaired . Where ever you bought you Monitor from should be able to come up with a solution .

CHECK your video card   this would appear to be the problem

do you have an orange light on your monitor   or a green one

if green  your screen is knacked

if orange   your video card is knacked     it's not getting a signal  

if it is a built in one just get a new vid card   same as if it is not   please remember to get a compatable one thou
