When the next successful terrorist attack occurs in the US, will Obama be supported or blamed?

If it happens really soon, they will just blame George W. Bush. if it happens in a couple of years, they will say " so he made ONE mistake give him a break"

We are safe now. Many people support the President & the amount is growing everyday. Closing Gitmo will look poorly on him (which might encourage people to blame him) -- even if none of the attackers were detained there.

The thing about terrorists is they terrorize -- regardless of who's in office. So to assign blame to the sitting President would be presumptuous.

No more than Bush was blamed for 9/11. If there is no terrorist attack, will the Obama bashers rush to congratulate him for protecting us, as they so proudly did with Bush? I doubt it.

If an attack happened again under a Republican President, they would blame the Republican President.
