If the economy tanks into a depression, Yes, it would be in Democrats' best interest to try to attribute the failure to Bush despite Obama's lengthier involvement. But I doubt the economy will decline so far. Already house sales went up 5% nationwide over February, job losses aren't as large each month and I am confident this recession won't have the time to morph into a depression.
