Jehovah's Witnesses; Re: Wolves in Sheep's Clothing: When some one Cries Wolf?

It is reported that in Palestine and Syria wolves usually hunt singly or in twos or threes, not in packs. They seek their prey under the cover of darkness, remaining in hiding during the day. (Hab 1:8; Zep 3:3) Wolves are fierce, voracious, bold, and greedy, often killing more sheep than they can eat or drag away. The shepherd of ancient times therefore had to be courageous and resourceful to protect the flock from wolves.—Joh 10:12, 13.

Yes I agree with you. And that is why we need to exercise extreme caution with deceptive questionings.

Everyone needs to check their fans' profiles. Even Y/A tells us all that we are not obligated to accept fans as a contact...which is why the options for blocking is also permitted.

I have been contacted by ones that are subversive and I do not wish AT ALL to have them as 'friends'. Those cannot be my friends and never will be.

Sugarbee, I think you may have accepted a fan to be a contact without realizing who they are. Please be careful. Your email is not available so it's hard to speak with you...although I don't blame you for not wanting to allow emails. I didn't for a very long time until I understood the respects for privacy on y/a.

These kind cautionary comments are not meant to insult ones' intelligence or spirituality. If some wish to take it as such, then hopefully they'll come around to seeing it as loving concern and just trying to help others to be alert.

This goes for anything in life...be it religious or not.

What we see here is no different from what goes on house to house. Here they may be a little bolder by being anonymous.

Clergy and those pandering to them are still trying to scare people away from JWs. They do so mainly because of the threat to their bank accounts.

When one asks a question of the clergy, the answers are almost guaranteed to be poor. Most certainly they will never use the Bible in their answer, turning to the proper scripture so the asker can read for themselves. That is because they do not know what the Bible says.

JWs on the other hand come to the door without knowing what a person may ask. But when they answer, it will be with God's Word, the Bible, not any of personally prejudice ideas or theories. They will show you from their Bible or the asker's own copy exactly what God says on the matter. To do this requires much study on the part of all JWs. We are all ministers.

Lawyers are not paid on what they know but on their ability to be able to look it up. JWs do not get paid anything for their ministry but they do have success because they know where and how to find the answers from the Bible.

Any "planned attack" is only a part of what the Bible told would happen at large in the world to Jehovah's people. R&S is only a small piece of that.

I haven't exactly seen what you are suggesting possibly because I have so many people blocked. I have seen an interesting trend similar to this, Lately, for example a number of questions have come up about the same time about John 1:1, and then when I see one question about Hell there will be several more, at least. I've seen several variations of evolution questions lately. I guess it's hard to think of something original.

    Yes bro.

I try and avoid those questions. Sometimes I have answered and I did not know someone had crazy motives.

I don't want any spiritual fellowship with those types, in fact no contact whatsoever. 87 blocked and growing...

Be careful if they make a new handle and add you as a contact. They are not content with just asking questions, they would love to get yours deleted. Especially the ones with no questions and answers who just state in their profile that they are the "y/a police" or something. Even if a handle like that was sincere, I can take care of myself thankyouverymuch.

Yes, I believe I saw a question recently which asked something like, "Do you agree: If you can't stand the heat, get out of the limelight?"

Later, it was brought to my attention that there was a user account that was devoted solely to deleting the user accounts of Jehovah's Witnesses who ask questions. That user account was tied to other user accounts which were tied to the user asking the question. I believe that was their way of saying the hunt was on.

I have noticed several of my blocked users giving benign answers which would fool those who didn't already have them blocked into thinking they had good motives. Later, though, they launch their attacks. Everyone really needs to take a look at their fans closely before adding them as contacts themselves. This may sound cryptic, but without breaking Yahoo rules, this is all I can say about the subject.

I might add, blocking comes in very handy because they change their names and avatars constantly.

EDIT: Sugarbee, I actually have you blocked right now too, but only because you are linked to one of those accounts. Please check out your contacts, not all are friendly. Once you're free of the 'parasites,' I will unblock you. :) I would have emailed you, but you don't allow email.

Yes we must must always be checking & re checking, if they don't allow email, their answers & questions are blocked, then I don't keep or allow them as my contacts. I'm continually going over questions & answers, some of the bro/sis are into other formats on YA,there is nothing wrong with that, but checking them out is time consuming, but necessary.

Yes there is wolves in sheeps clothing, the 34th chapter of Ezekiel gives us insight as who they are, & the 16th verse tells us who will be taking care of these ones.

I've done research on "the strong one" wasn't able to find out much. My opinion & just my opinion, these strong ones are the judgmental ones amongest us. Our Creator tells us that He will annihilate them, not us. We are always to be on guard!

Yes I get the sense if we are going to be on here we have to be careful that we don't listen to or get led astray by these wolfs

Luke ,we see it all the Time. (Matthew 10:16-17) 16 “Look! I am sending YOU forth as sheep amidst wolves; therefore prove yourselves cautious as serpents and yet innocent as doves. 17 Be on YOUR guard against men. . .

One will ask , and here comes the Pack..It is hard to blocked them all for they have many accounts.

  • 1 decade ago

to avoid the attacks just be very wary that you don't attract attention to yourself. in that way they will not be aware. stay away from answering their questions, block those you can find. end of story.

  • Yes, I think I know what you mean brother

I've just got to say that Tobias' answer makes me laugh
