Ladies, are these ideas good? What is a romantic way to propose to my girlfriend?

Nothing romantic is ever silly! :) But the first one is so old and common. The second one is cute, but what if she doesn't listen to the whole CD at that time. What you should probably do is have two songs play through, then do the proposal...then after the proposal add more songs. Now, that would be romantic!!!!

Idea #1...

make her work for it! hehehe

make her think you are going on a date or to a BBQ,

have her meet you there,

dont show and have a friend of yours give her a note from you asking her to meet you at(a place you took her on a date),

when she arrives there do it again, have someone be there with roses and another note!

do this about three or four times each time have a special gift waiting for her,

the last place will be a fancy resturant where you will be waiting on one knee ring in hand!

Idea #2...

hide a ring in her breakfast(not in the food but on the side) see her reaction! she will love it!

Idea #3...

involve her family and see what ideas they have, take her to a museum and have them waiting for you all there, find the most romantic piture and purpose in front of it, when she says yes have all her family and your family clap!!! she will love it!!!

I saw a guy propose after Church on a Sunday. It was pretty cool, actually. Or maybe take her to her favorite restaurant or a "spot" you guys might have. Another good idea is to ask her family to help you set up something special for her. A girl likes to have the support of her loved one's when something like this happens. Congratulations!

I'd try to incorporate something you guys like to do. Do you go to a lot of movies? Take her out for a movie, and see if the theater will spell out "(her name), will you marry me?" on the marquee. Do you like to go to concerts? If there's a t-shirt stand, see if you can sneak in a t-shirt with the message on it and as you're both looking at them, say "What do you think of this one?" holding it up so she can see.

Or there's the tried and true favorite- the scavenger hunt. Give her a note or send her a text saying "Go to the place where we met/ had our first date/ had our first kiss/etc. Something is waiting for you." Then at the place have a rose and the next clue waiting. Lead her to a few different places, with the last clue leading to where you are.

I would love a guy to propose to me with the champagne, but it depends on how fancy your thinking for the restaurant, if you can't afford the restaurant you have in mind, i'd go with the cd recording. good luck and i hope your girlfriend says yes!

those are good ideas but there are some flaws .... like when you actually ahve to fish the ring out and then dry it off and THEN put it on her finger, or i don't actually remember the last time i listened to a whole cd (i'm sure it'd be different if it was made etc) but how can you guarentee that you'll be there when she listens to the end of it etc.

my advice is don't do anything too out of the ordinary or it'll seem a bit suss and she'll be onto you. my fiance took me out to dinner to our most visited restaurant, pushed our entrees aside (i'm like "aren't you gonna eat that) then did a lil speech about not liking the rings i'd shown him in catalogues, he preferd this one and pulled out the ring box. It wasn't anything too extravagent but very us, and very him, and i wasn't tooooo suss on him (i was a little bit as we'd been out to dinner 2 weeks prior and we had a few large bills coming up and was a bit hesitant to go lol)

alot of things can go wrong with the first choice. so i would do the cd but don't wait till the end to ask her to marry you. i don't listen to a whole cd cause i don't drive that far but you never know. maybe you can add it in the middle of a song like record over it. that would be shocking and sweet.

The sweetest proposal I have ever heard of, was the one my uncle gave to my aunt. He sent her a dozen roses. After a while, she noticed there were only 11 roses, and she called him and told him. He said he would call the flower place and ask what happened. Later on that day, he came over with a single rose. Handing it to her, she leaned her head down to smell it, she saw he had tucked the rose inbetween the petals. He then said, you complete my life bouquet.just like the one she held completed the dozen roses. Then, he asked her to marry him.

Here's what you should do. And trust me this is foolproof. I've known at least 10 different guys that have done it successfully. Not a single one has reported bad results. Dress up in dark clothes and a ski mask, and kidnap her while she leaves work. Bound and gag her, making sure to tie her arms and legs so she can't move. Put her in the trunk of your car Note: you don't have to play romantic music while you drive-but its definitely a plus:] Take her to a remote location or abandoned warehouse and tie her to a chair. Make sure she is still blindfolded. When she begins to scream and cry, punch her in the face. Note: make sure she is still blindfolded, so she doesn't see you. Fake a rescue scene and struggle. In fact, to make it realistic, you may even want to bring a homeless guy to beat up. After the struggle ends, take the blindfold off of her and propose on the spot. If she says no, leave her tied to the chair.
