Anyone else think Jay Cutler is being ridiculous?

He is a 24-25 year old kid, who apparently thinks his crap does not stink.

My real question is...what has Jay done in his career to earn the right to ignore his employer and demand a trade by default.

I say he is good, but not that good. I don't understand why he gets so much credit when other QB's that are more talented do not.

I was on his side when the new coach Daniels wanted to trade him away which is why I understand the way he reacted. But now I think he is taking this too far. He has all the glory, the coach and owner is on their knees trying to make him happy but he still continue this behavior. Honestly, did he not know that the NFL is one huge business and trade talks involving him will come up in his career. He hasn't proven much in the league, only sparks that he has great potential. He is just one big baby is all I have to say.

I don't. I mean, he was lied to by the owner and coach, has no faith or respect for them anymore, and doesn't want to play there anymore. A normal person who's mistreated in their job can leave and find employment within their field elsewhere, Cutler can't, so his only option is to request a trade.

As for what he's done in his career, he's put up good numbers and led a great offense. Last season they were the #2 ranked offense in the league. A lot of people will point to his sub-.500 record as a starter, but I'm sure any other QB would be under .500, even Manning, Brady, etc. with that defense. He's done everything he could to make them successful, and their defense is horrible. I read somewhere he's 13-1 when the defense allows 21 or fewer, and that 1 loss was an OT loss where he never saw the ball. Its clearly obvious that they had a good offense and terrible defense, and the first thing McDaniels does is try to change the offense, fire the offensive coordinator to bring in his own, and try to replace Cutler.

i thought he was being ridiculous the whole time.

Sure, they tried to trade you. That hurts, but the NFL is a business and you are a commodity. Any and Everyone is subject to hitting the trading blocks. Sure that hurts, but its life.

The part that Cutler was the most upset about, was that McDaniels wouldn't apologize for trying to trade him....Are you serious? after that, Cutler wouldn't even meet with the coach. Don't be so sensitive, Jay. That man has a job to do, and that is to do whatever he can to make his team better. Once they went on tv and said, Cutler is our QB, it should have been over.

If he goes to a different team and pulls that same arrogant, whiny crap again, they may look to trade him too. Maybe then he'll realize how bad his attitude sucks.

To be honest, I would be infuriated if I was talking to my new head coach, hearing that I was the future of the franchise and that he was looking forward to coaching me and teaching a new style offense. Then hearing that the same coach who told me these things is now going behind my back and trying to bring in his own guy from his old team?? The Broncos gave Cutler a 6 year $48 million dollar contract to be the centerpiece of this franchise, and I can understand why he is upset. However, not returning phone calls and skipping workouts is an unprofessional move on his behalf. If he wanted out so badly, he could have had another meeting with the coach and GM and reitterated his displeasure in person and his desire to be moved.

He's acting like a big baby. When someone goes into any professional sport there's always a chance of being traded, benched, or cut. It's a business and the players have to know that going in, apparently Cutler though he was above all that. I think he's a fair to average QB, but he's not among the great ones like Manning, Brady, Brees etc.

When Cutler actually does something, like get the Broncos to the Super Bowl, then he can start making demands. He better hope it ends up like Eli Manning did. Remember people thought Manning was a crybaby until he won the SB.

Unfortunately his attitude is typical of today's incredibly spoiled man-child pro-athlete

Boo hooo hooo Jay so your new coach doesn't love you as much as you want to be loved and rejected you by trying to bring in a player that he liked better.

Sniff Sniff Sniff >Here Jay wipe your tears on some of the millions of dollars that you're making to play a child's game and grow TF up and be the professional that you claim to be.

Honestly I don't know why any other organization would hire this self-centered clown I really don't .

i think there are 2 scenarious, both Jay Cutler is traded to the Detriot Lions for a diverse volume of draft options, or he's traded to the Jets for a operating decrease back, and draft options.

Ridiculous is mild. I think he's being childish, self-centered, and an all around prima dona. All this for a slightly above average QB who has never had a winning record or even gone to the playoffs.

He is a little girl. Ignoring phone calls and skipping work outs? Who does he think he is? He acts like he's the king of the world. He is whining about him being in trade talks for Cassel, but the fact remains that it DIDN'T HAPPEN. Get over it, realize Shanahan is gone, and move on. He is such a clown, I hate him now
