I would say that whoever you got your ecstasy from had it cut with something rotten. That or you took way more than just a pill or two. Other than that, I can not see why you taking ecstasy two months ago would still effect you today, you might want to see a doctor and tell them about what happened.

I don't know much about ecstasy but I do know that an excess of most any drug can have very serious consequences...and that includes alcohol...people die from alcohol poisoning every day. I would say that since ecstasy is "directed" toward "changing" some part of the composition of the brain creating this illusion of "ecstasy" that this is exactly what has happened...brain damage to SOME degree.

That is the bad news, but the good news is that with time, the brain begins to slowly repair itself. There ARE doctors who still tell you that once brain cells are lost, they are gone forever. But in recent years they have discovered that OTHER brain cells " take up the slack" and I can tell you this is true because my mother suffered a major stroke. Over some time, MANY things totally returned to her, but she was left, still with some problems. Your damage should not be as intensive as a stroke.

But DO you have a doctor whose care you are in...? And do you have family with you there to HELP you find some answers? You may need to do some therapy to help yourself come out of this quicker rather than longer. YOU NEED a GOOD support system and a good doctor to be under his or her care! DO IT! it is vital!

Now....some other news you may or may not want to hear. For whatever the reason, ONCE you have had a "brain" damage for any reason, it is MUCH easier to have it happen AGAIN!

NO MORE IRRESPONSIBLE DRINKING OR DRUGGING! Or you could easily end up a vegetable!!!!!!!!!!

You must NOW change your life to make sure you have a good and happy and LONG one!

You will have to avoid all things that are potentially dangerous to your "brain" and therefore your life....no more staying out too long in blistering heat (you will be more suseptible to heat stroke.) IT can get you before you know you are even HOT, yet! So watch this carefully. Also people recovering from some sort of mild or severe brain trauma often MUST go to bed at a set time and get up at a set time....as well as eating at set times and in good eating habits. ALL these things are connected to a good and healthy "brain."

There may be a day when you do not have to be SO CAREFUL, but now IS NOT that time.

Blessings to you and my prayers that you are able to overcome!

Wow, it sounds like you really have had a hard time since using drugs, and are fortunate to be alive. I sure hope you don't ever do them again, because I just don't think it's worth it. I think you may benefit from seeing a neurologist or even psychiatrist. A neurologist can deal with the memory questions as well as begin to check your potential vision changes and perhaps pass you on to a ophthalmologist if need be. I don't know whether or not what's happened, or is still happening to you, will be permanent or not. Perhaps even the doctors won't be able to tell you with 100% certainty. Good luck.

you made the mistake that many people make of taking a substance that you didnt know the contents of. That was not pure e, e doesnt do stuff like that. E is one of the most frequently cut drugs out there. You will recover in time most likley. I took mushrooms a bunch of times and thought that i would never be able to be normal again, but im fine now. See a doctor and tell him what happened, tell him you may have ingested some unknown toxic substance and would like to know if there is anyway he could figure out what it is and whether or not he could make you better (unlikely but its a start). Hold on man, you will be alright someday (i think).

I have never done it personally but almost every body i know has and they have never had any effects like that. But wikipedia has a lot more info then i do. I says that e causes short term memory lapses or if your a chronic user it can cause long term memory and cognition impairment. this is the only mention of vision side effects "Mildly blurred vision following primary subjective effects, gradually resolving over a period of up to several days, also known as "plurring" "

So you should do a little research on it.

umm well hard to say.. i know that ecstasy can hurt the hypothalamus which is involved with mamillary bodies (which help in the recollection of memories).. but these things are pretty plastic and you should probably start having an easier time within the next 4-8 months or so..
