Unconsciousness and convulsions?

I've had several, i guess you could call them episodes, where i've suddenly become dizzy, slowly lose vision, then become unconscious followed by convulsions. The most recent: I was sitting in my living room and decided to go get a magazine from our media room's closet and so i opened the closet door started to get dizzy and started to lose vision. I remember thinking 'please don't pass out' because i had a friend over and i don't want to freak them out. As expected i passed out and began having convulsions and when i came to, i had no idea why i had been in the media room for. I sat there for several minutes before i could remember. Whats wrong with me? it really scares me, does anyone know what this it?

How do you know you have convulsions? Do you lose bladder and/or bowel control? These could be epeleptic seizures for which you need treatment in order to be safe living or in order just to keep living. They could be symptomatic of something else that needs exploration and eventual treatment. Do your parent's know about these episodes? Please seek help asap!

It sounds to me like you've had a seizure and should seek immediate medical attention (i.e. call 911) when this happens again. It could be something as simple as a syncopal episode or it could be something as severe as new onset of epilepsy, either way you should be evaluated by a physician when this occurs. Please, seek medical attention, failure to do so could have tragic results should you have such an episode while driving. I have seen people killed by a driver having a seizure while operating a vehicle

That sounds very scary. If I were you I would head to my doctor.

I personally have episodes where I can't remember what just happened. That is way less severe than you. I went to my doctor and she is running all sorts of tests on me, I can hardly believe it.

You really need to get to a doctor, the sooner the better.
