You are exactly right. So many people here seem impressed with academic credentials, yet the vast majority of Obama advisers are basically professional students. I have met many such people in my career. Some have several advanced degrees but cannot figure out how to operate a vending machine.

Not saying that the best minds are in government, cause they aren't if that were true you wouldn't be in a recession and your education system wouldn't be making kids stupider but they are still hired by them.

True, most people in Washington have never worked in the private sector. Obama, Biden and Polesi. Yes, I could name republicans also, but it is kind of irrelevant since they have no power.

This is partly true. It makes sense during the Bush era, but now that Barack is here, we have hope for a better county and a better world.
