come on man you guys barely beat Aston Villa by scoring a goal at the 92nd minute and you are saying it was the best performance?
thrilling? yes.
best? no.
one of the best I have seen from Man Utd was Man Utd Vs Real Madrid in 2003.
that was cool.

It was one of Man Utd's best results in the context of the whole season, however in no way could it be described as one of Utd's best performances, because Villa were the better side for large parts of the game, until Federico Macheda settled the match with a sublime piece of skill. Even from a Man City supporter I have to congratulate Man U and give credit where credit's due, but even the most fanatical of Man U fans would have to agree that Villa's performance on the day merited something from the game.

The problem for United is that they dont have the money. They have not rieceved 80 mill for Ronaldo, they have got only 20mill, the rest to be paid over the next 3 years. They got nothing for Teves leaving. Also when they have to compete with Chelsea or Man City who can offer cash now they are strugling. And to make matters worse the 80 mill for Ronaldo has pushed the price of players up even further, you only have to look and see what is happening at Liverpool,Alonso has gone from being a 15 mill player to being a thirty mill player same as Mascherano gone from 20 to 40.

NO. I dont agree
Man United were hopeless until the 80th minute
After that there were 3 more pieces of brilliance and that's it - Ronaldo's goal, Wellbeck's chance and Macheda's goal.
This was one of their mediocre performances.
But then the flip side is that it was a make shift United that did not have so many first team players - Vidic, Ferdinand, Scholes, Park, Berbatov, Rooney
Considering this we can call it average

i agree 100%. It has been United's best game not only for them but for all games I've ever watched. There was drama, excitement, both teams were playing well and see how United dealed from winning to losing to winning. First they were winning, then draw, then losing, then draw, then winning at the 1st minute of injurty time. Good drama. I bet it kept all viewers of the match alive. It shows that United is not based on one player. It also showed that United can deal with games when more than half of their first team players are not on the field.

Oh yes, definitely their best. Nothing better than seeing the best player on your team making the equalizer and then seeing a 17-year old scoring the late golden goal in his first game for the club. The stakes were very high too.

No it was a rubbish performance by a makeshift team, but what it showed was strength of character, resolve, ruthlessness and a refusal to throw in the towel, along with individual brilliance (not just Macheda and Ronaldo, but Darren Fletcher who, in my opinion, was man of the match). This will resonate all around the club and inspire the full-strength team in the final 8 games.

Not game of the season - that will have to go to the Arsenal - Spurs 4 all game. Man United were poor again yesterday, by their standards.

Our performance was crap, especially in the first half. But our comeback was one of the best, especially in the last 10 minutes.Overall this game is one of the best Man United games in history.
