Rune carving on a talisman? What runes and in what order should I carve them?

I am making a hammer talisman and a oath ring, for blots and other blessings. I haven't constructed the ring yet, but it's time to charge the hammer. Since I am a Thor's man, I will be using, Thor's power sigils on it. But I feel it still needs, some rune work on it to well, I don't know what.

I was going to visit a friend of mine, at his house. He didn't know, I was coming over till he pulled into his driveway. He walks up to me a hands me a hammer, He had found on his way home, on the road side. That day, at about the same time, I had left for his house. It's a coopers hammer, that's been used. Not the kind of hammer ,you'd expect to find on the road side. I've cleaned it up, but don't know what runes to use to charge it.

I'm going to put a Widdershins Swastika, on the face. For expelling force. A Deosil Swastika, on the right side of the head, to attract force. And a Shieldknot, on the left side of the head as a protective symbol. I'm right handed, so the shield knot will be facing me at all times. I will be putting my kindred bind rune, at the base of the handle.

I know that Thor's runes are Uruz, Thurisaz, Raido and Sowulo. But how best to use them, I haven't a clue. I don't know, how to arrange them. I will be carving, them into the handle.

Thanks

Hail Thor

Bind them into one might be an idea.
