He said i was the least chatty person hes met... so now i feel sad/scared, i really like him.?
So there's this boy... We've been friends for a year or so , but not peticularly close.
Over the past month we've spoken every day (over msn mostly)
We went on a date last weekend and sat in the cafe speaking for 5hours. Admittedly he did most of the talking and did point out that if he stopped speaking i wouldn't come up with somethng to say...
then today we went on another date. I know i dont speak much... Il answer anything , and if i have a story to contribute then ill say it but , i dont go out of my way to think of a topic if we stopped talking , i dont mind sitting quietly.
He said i was the least chatty person ever... this sorta hurt me. hes really sweet and we both like each other , and he said it with a laugh but ive taken it to heart.
Should i try and force more conversation? how? I dont want to lose him.

don't ever be anything but yourself to get a guy to like you. if you're not chatty, then that's who you are. he will like you for you (or else he wouldn't go on dates with you), and if he doesn't, someone else will!

What I always do with new guys, when you feel the conversation is thinning out, is play the favorites game. Say in a fun way 'Ok, so, whats your favorite colour?' and other random things, like animal, place, ice cream flavour, simpson character? Any stupid thing that pops into your head.
He'll think its cute :)

He's probably just joking and trying to flirt with you. Taking the piss is one of the most easiest way to joke and to try and get a girl to laugh so I definitely wouldn't take it to heart, just call him chatter box or gobby or something.
Hope i've helped :)

if you really care for him, then i think you should try to make conversations when you guys are out together, to give him teh idea that you're also interested in him. me and my ex used to have the same problem, he kept telling me that i needed to talk more, i know it's hard but you just have to break the habit!
goodluck
