Very low power (+0.5) reading glasses?

It may sound cheap but I've always gotten my sunglasses at dollar stores, they have +0.50 reading glasses which is what I use for reading. Also they'll last longer then you'd think, just read this review below...

I need very low-power reading glasses, and they're almost impossible to find. Does anyone know where I could buy +0.50 reading glasses without spending a lot of money? Scratch resistant would be a big plus.

I have always seen them at Drug Stores. I've never looked at the prescriptions but I was told that is where to buy reading glasses w/out a prescription.

Im not sure, really, but it seems that you could just use slightly more powerful lenses. Then again, this isin't really my area of expertise. I have never worn glasses.
