I found 3 kittens in my shed. I put them in a box and I've been waiting for the past few hours to see if the mom cat would come around. Every time I check, there's no sign. 
 They seem to be about 3-4 weeks old. I'm worried the mother cat might not take them anymore since I touched them. I feel bad, I was trying to help keep them warm. So, should I wait a little longer, leave it be or take them in & start feeding them kitten formula? They were thin when I found them, and they seem hungry:(
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Get out the bottle and start feeding right away.  Kittens that are well nursed are not thin.  They have very FAT bellies.  Sounds like mom's been gone for a while, so time is of the essence or else these little ones die.

Get a kitten feeding bottle from Petsmart (the one with the long thin nipple).  Get dried powdered goat's milk.  Kitten like this stuff far better.  Mix it up according to directions and start feeding.  If the milk feels warm on your pulse - it's the right temperature.

They need to be fed every 3-4 hours for the next 2 weeks or so.  They are very close to weaning, so you are only going to be tired for a couple of weeks.  Good luck!

Mother cats don't usually leave there kittens but this seems like she was a stray so she may have went to look for food. You did the right thing. I would wait for the mother a little longer, and if you have no luck, Feed them kitten formula. If they seem thin and hungry something may have happened to the mother. If you don't see any sign of her for a while, i guess you just have to decide weather you want to take care of 3 kittens, or weather you are going to take them to the spca

The mother may have left because they may be older then that cause they are thin see if they will a little dry food moistened with water
