At first glance, I thought this was a redundant question with no real subject but now I see that it's a clever question that's true intention is to make people question their own personal motives as to why they participate in Yahoo! Answers in the first place.
I don't expect my answer to be selected as the best but I do like to give explanations, voice my opinion, and share knowledge.
