COLD kills more newborns than lack of food!! You can try to keep him warm by putting a lamp over the box that the kittens are in....keeping all of them warm.....OR......you can

Make a small sack out of a hand towel, or dish towel, and put the kitten inside......then put this sack INSIDE your SHIRT. Your body will keep the kitten warm. Make sure it can breathe......

Go to a pet store, get a pet nurser and some KMR ( kitten milk replacement ) and feed the kitten WARM ( not hot ) every 2 hours ( around the clock ), until he gets big enough to feed less often....sometimes a couple of weeks.....

Possibly, this this kitten would nurse, if the other kittens were moved off of mom for awhile, and let him eat FIRST.....instead of having to "fight" for a nipple. Being the runt, he doesn't have the strength to "win" one of these battles. After he was fed, the others could be put back with mom. But, the pet nurser and you feeding him would probably be better.

I had to do this with some of my kittens, too. I fed them, then put them back with mom for her to do the "cleaning". If your mama won't clean him, that will be YOUR JOB, too. Briskly ( but gently ) rub his tummy toward his genitals, so he will be stimulated to pee / poop.

Good luck with this baby......and consider having mom spayed as soon as the vet okays it. This will prevent another occurance like this one.......

You need to get some kitten milk replacer, and a bottle, and bottle feed him. Do NOT give him gatorade, or water on a spoon. He needs to be kept warm and fed. A kitten who's temperature is dropping like that is either dying, or at significant risk of dying. If you can't take him to the vet, you probably won't have to worry much longer about him.

    DO THIS FOR WARMTH:

    Take a bucket,basket,ETC

put a heater on the bottom

Then put a blanket, towel, ETC

If you have a lid on w/e you used then make wholes in it

    DO THIS FOR FOOD:

If your kitten wont eat, bottle feed it

    Go to a pet store

    Get a bottle

Ask the worker what formula they have for baby kittens

    Follow direction's on the formula

    Put it in the bottle

    Feed the kitten

    Hope this helps!

Why can't you take him to a vet???

You shouldn't have pets if you can't or won't get them the care they need when they need it.

You will have to get kitten milk and feed it to the kitten with an eye dropper every few hours until he starts feeding on his own, or until he's weaned.

PLEASE take it to a vet, it's what a responsible pet owner would do.

I would say to get some KMR from a pet supply. Try to get him to take only a few drops. His belly is tiny. Try to warm him up rubbing him and keeping him close to your body or put a hot water bottle under the covers and lay him on it. You need to keep him warm and get nourishment into him. You should really get to a vet. Good luck.

seriously - let the kitten die

you can't afford a vet visit. My guess is the kitten will be surrendered to a shelter, so let the poor thing die now instead of in 12 weeks time when the shelter can't find a home for it

get rid of the momma cat too since you can't afford to get the cat desexed

Keep him really warm, If you have a syringe and some gatorade, fill it up and try to get him to take some. Not only will you keep him hydrated but you will also give him some sugar for energy and strength. Good Luck.

Try and put water on a spoon and give him lots of little drops of water to drink.

As long as he drinks water he should get better.

Try and put a warm cover around him as well.

    Good Luck
