Is someone less attractive if you learn they have terrible financial skills?

No, you shouldn't. I feel the same way. I'm pretty responsible (job, savings, a few stocks, no debt aside from my education) and I started dating a fiscally irresponsible guy 3 years ago. We ended up moving in together and I hated it- he would literally check his bank balance constantly for the last week of every month because he had no conception of how much he was spending/ how money works. We broke up and even though I have less money I feel happier and more secure financially (because I don't have to worry about covering his ***).

People might tell you that you're being superficial but you're not. If you can't see yourself having a long-term future with someone that you shouldn't be dating them and you def shouldn't beat yourself up about it. It's not like you're saying "if i found out that she watched reality tv i wouldn't be attracted to her anymore"-- this is something that would effect BOTH of you in a long term relationship.

Ah......no!!.........don't try to see past this. if you're looking for a serious relationship, this is something that you're going to have to watch very closely. if you do want to get serious with this person, take into consideration what her financial woes will do to your credit rating.

it shows what type of person you really are. anyone should be glad to find a person like you who is more interested in a person's character, and how they live life on a daily basis,rather than just what the person looks like.

its normal. you want to be with someone responsible. tell her that and se if she gets defencive and throws a fit. that will tell you everything you need to know.
