Defragging is technically unnecessary running OSX, but permissions repair can be found in ~/Applications/Utilities/Disk Utility.

Running Disk Utility from the startup disk will give you the option to do full disk repairs for fixing corruption issues.

Drive space can be seen at the bottom of every finder window, in Disk Utility, and in the "get info" window on your main drive.

    Hi,

You can clean up your Mac by browsing through Finder, and deleting Files and Programs that you don't need/use.

To find out how much space you have used or how much is left, hold "Ctrl" and Click on Macintosh HD (on desktop). Then, click "Get Info". A box should appear, which shows how much space you have used, and how much space is left.

    Good Luck!

some of these tools are located in Applications > Utilities
