My Windows Vista Computer is messed up!!!!!!?

Okay one day i heard about a free version of windows vista home premium but it the official name was "windows vista home premium lite", so i decided to install it. i followed all of the directions except for one. the guy said i had to burn the windows vista home premium iso in the cd, but instead of doing this i simply used winrar to go inside the iso and launch the setup. after i had it installed it worked perfect, not one flaw, the aero graphics worked perfectly, but after about 6 hours a window popped up saying that "windows is logging off it less than a minute". at first i didnt believe it but then surely enough it logged off. when i turned it back on. it gave me several options. one of them was to re-install windows. i chose this option but for some reason it said that it was unable to reinstall windows because an error had occured, it told me to restart and try again. i tried several times but still nothing. finally i decided to go back to the options. i picked the one that said it was gonna format my computer completely. after it had formatted everything it took back to the same message saying that an error had occured and it was unable to re-install windows. i took my computer to a guy the next day and he said that in order to make it work again he would have to reinstall all the drivers, software, and install windows xp.this was gonna cost me 70 dollars. im only 13 and i dont have 70 dollars and my parents weren't gonna give me the money. can anybody tell me how to install the drivers by myself. by the way my computer is a windows vista home basic computerm, i used the windows vista upgrade adviser and it said that my computer would be able to handle the aero graphics so it wasn't because my computer was too suckish to handle windows vista home premium. and if you want to see the video where it teaches you to install the windows vista home premium lite its at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lRgRSx9Lo0U

People's issues with Vista are pretty much always due to the users ignorance, and that can be said with a lot of technology. That is one of the reasons people like Macs, Apple dumbs things down for the dumb, and of course, it is "pretty." Not that what the computer looks like has anything to do with what the machine is capable of, but people are idiots; anyone praising Macs simply will not accept their ignorance... have fun not being able to use 75% of the programs out there.

To address your problem, Asker, it is all too difficult to explain without being in person. If I knew you in real life, I would gladly solve your problem free of charge; maybe someone else will be able to successfully help you through Yahoo! Answers.

Find the recover disks that came with your computer and boot the computer with them. That will return your computer to the state it was in when you bought it. If you don't have the disks, you can call the manufacturer and they should send you some. Vista is a good system but you should know you never get an operating system for free. You can do the recovery yourself without spend a lot of money.

Next time follow directions, they are there for a reason.

TRY CONDENSING YOUR QUESTION DOWN TO A FEW LINES.

A question that long makes readers lose the will to live.

Ask your parents for the money. If they won't pay for it they are tight-fisted. It will save you any worries getting it done by someone who knows what they are doing.

    If not;

    Go back to basics.

If you have a recovery CD then boot from that.

Get hold of a legit copy of vista basic or xp and go off what the CD tells you.

As previously stated to install drivers go to control panel>performance and maintanence> system>click on the 'hardware' tab>device manager.

display all the hardware, right click and scroll down to re-install or update.

You could alternatively download all the drivers you need from the internet and burn them to CD on a friends computer

Vista has a "Restore Defaults" button. One quick touch of it will retore your computer back to its original settings and screen appearance. I am not using Vista, so I cannot recall exactly where it is located. I have seen it work, nevertheless. If it would be possible for you to get in touch with the retailer or with another Vista user and find out where the "Restore Defaults" option is situated, your problem hopefully will be resolved in a hurry. Any changes to the original settings you could make yourself.

    you torrented this, didn't you?

This stuff is not legal, what "lite" means is that all the uneeded stuff of vista is ripped out like free wallpapers and screensavers.

So basically, you have a pirated version of vista, that has less features.

Answers: UNINSTALL IT and BUY a cheap legal version.

Btw, to re-install drivers is easy- go to control panel>performance and maintanence> system>click on the 'hardware' tab>device manager.

display all the hardware, right click and scroll down to re-install or update.

what you can do is get a boot cd, from somewhere on the internet.

and boot your computer with it.

My bothers computer would nver go pass the scrren that says windows, and we booted it with a windows 7 cd that a friend hacked, now it works perfectly..( dont try this if you have no nerdy technology experience...:D)

you could also get a cd and turn your computer into a mac, wich is what i did with mines, and again, you do this at your own risk, i will not be responsible for any problems with your computer..
